What does suspension parts do

Vehicle suspension load conditions can generally be divided into the following types:

1) Simplified fatigue load conditions, usually divided into braking, steering, take-off and other working conditions, which are mostly used in conceptual design or early stage of design, mainly used in cases where the fatigue load spectrum is imperfect or not available. Preliminary evaluation of the structure or optimization of the structure;

2) Detailed fatigue load conditions, giving a detailed load spectrum (test spectrum or virtual load spectrum), and the evaluation indicators are described by the number of cycles;

3) Misoperation conditions (limit load conditions) for structural integrity assessment under extreme load conditions.

Generally speaking, in the initial stage of vehicle development, the location and related parameters of some important hard points (connection points between components and components) are initially determined, and then the designer designs the relevant components based on this information. At this stage, it is necessary to analyze the structural strength and durability of individual components, and propose improvements to the existing problems, and guide the structural design to make it gradually reasonable.

Advantages of component analysis: From the perspective of analysis scale, the analysis time of single component analysis is short, the space is small, and the performance of the computer is not high. It is more suitable for multiple iterative analysis and verification in the initial structural improvement of the design.
